I have been brainstorming creative projects where I can showcase my favorite Polaroid photos. I’ve always been drawn to vintage Polaroids, there’s something so nostalgic and whimsical about capturing the moment without the advancements of digital photography.
I purchased both my vintage Polaroid cameras from Etsy vintage sellers and they work great! These days we rarely take the time to print out photos, they usually just live forever digitally. So having something tangible to hold and put on display makes Polaroids extra special.

I took this photo inside a boutique shop during our trip to Chico, Ca. I always loved the way you could spend forever browsing all the images. This type of collage works best if you have a lot of Polaroid photos to display.

This project is highly curated and comprised of carefully selected Polaroid photos to create a color story. If you’re a fan of going out into the world and taking the time to capture specific images, this could really result in a “Wow Factor” display.

Andy Warhol was kinda the original inventor of the selfie with his famous Polaroids. If you are not familiar, he took portrait Polaroid photos of many famous celebrities (and himself in drag) back in the 1970’s.
You could do a similar project with your friends and family (and pets too!). Warhol’s portraits were done against a white wall, but you can put your own spin on it.
This could also become an annual tradition. For example, every year on your birthday you take a portrait.
