I always love a trip to sunny Los Angeles and often times during our adventures I come across a new favorite mural. There’s so many fun and colorful places and public art to photograph in La La Land.
Some of the best Los Angeles neighborhoods to hunt for murals are West Hollywood, Downtown, Santa Monica, Venice, Abbot Kinney Boulevard and more!
This blog post is a collection of murals I’ve found over the years in Los Angeles. I have included as much location information as possible so you can find them yourselves.

The rainbow and cactus mural is the first photo in this blog post. This colorful and cheerful spot in West Hollywood is picture perfect and made for Instagram. Located at 8304 Melrose Ave.

Located outside Chinese Laundry at 3485 La Cienega Blvd in Los Angeles, this mural is truly massive in scale. It’s perfect for California bloggers like me!

These adorable fnnch’s Honey Bears can be found scattered all over major cities in the United States. The honey bears in the DTLA Arts District are perfectly themed as artists. You can find this mural in the Urban Radish parking lot at 661 Imperial St, Los Angeles.

This cotton candy pink mural is located at 8448 Melrose Ave in West Hollywood outside the House of CB clothing store.

This mural is very long and has sections for all gradient of colors. The hues in this mural are very vibrant and really pop in photos. Located outside the Farrow & Ball Paint building on the corner of La Cienega Blvd and Sherwood Blvd.

I found this large 90’s inspired abstract mural off the main strip on Abbot Kinney in Venice. This wall may have rotating murals by guest artists, but I’m not 100% sure. You can find it in the Zooom Productions parking lot at 1733 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice.

On the corner of Melrose Ave and North Laural Ave you’ll find a long wall with multiple of these crochet art installations. The rainbow and peace sign are my personal favorite, they were made to brighten your Instagram feed. The artist is London Kaye and you can tag her at @madebylondon on Instagram.

This bright and colorful mural is located at the corner of Oakwood Ave and La Cienega Blvd bordering the two neighborhoods West Hollywood West and Beverly Grove.

Carrera Cafe on Melrose
The Carrera Cafe is pretty much an Insta-gal’s dream spot. Inside the cafe is bright white and modern, they make fancy latte art, and the outside wall always has a new painted mural. It’s also right across the street from the famous pink wall. Carrera Cafe is located at 8251 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles.

The funny thing about this wall is there’s always a guard patrolling the area and he won’t allow you to use your camera to take photos. They only allow cell phone photos - yep I’m not kidding! The Paul Smith Pink Wall is located at 8221 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood.
FUN Mural on Abbot Kinney
This carefree and casual FUN mural is located on a half-wall at Navarre Ct and Abbot Kinney Blvd. There’s a Salt & Straw ice cream shop very close by so it would definitely be worth a visit.
