About Us
I currently live in Sacramento with my husband Albert, our daughter Scout and dog Holly. Parenthood hasn't slowed us down at all, we bring Scout with us everywhere when we travel. I love to show our readers how you can still fuel your wanderlust and live a life filled with style with little ones.
I love thrifting for vintage and high end designer brands. I have a talent for finding buried treasure in thrift shops.
Although I am mostly of English and Irish ancestry, I grew up speaking both English and Spanish and I am completely bilingual. My husband is Mexican-American and we speak both languages with our families.
We bought a fixer-upper tudor style victorian house from the 1940’s in Sacramento. Over the last 2 years we’ve been working on remodelling projects, preserving the original charm and adding modern design touches.
We have lots of family spread out all over California and we spend lots of time in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Southern California.
My husband and I were both born in the 1980’s and we love 90’s TV shows and movies. Our Netflix queue is filled with FRIENDS, Everybody Loves Raymond, Seinfeld, The Office and Grace & Frankie.
My toddler daughter loves Taylor Swift’s music, especially when we are in the car on a road trip. We often have the songs “Lover” and “Delicate” on repeat.
I think Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks have the best on-screen chemistry and I love re-watching You’ve Got Mail and Sleepless in Seattle.
