Mexican Mash - Mash up the avocado and mix with lime juice, chopped cilantro and red onion. Spread over toast and top with sea salt. Kinda like guac, but a bit more simple. Add chopped jalapeños if you dare.

Bread Options - We often get into the habit of buying the same bread loaves every time we go to the grocery store. Try mixing it up with sourdough slices, whole wheat or even a pita. For an extra healthy option go for ezekiel sprouted bread.

Go Nuts - Top your avocado toast with chopped nuts and seeds. I personally think that cashews and pine nuts best complement avocado’s natural flavor. Make sure your nuts are chopped finely enough. It the nut bits are too big, it’s a bit awkward to eat. Luckily pine nuts are already the perfect size.

Get Spicy - By using hot sauces you can customize to your ideal spice level and flavor. You can go classic American with Tabasco, Mexican style with Tapatio, or Asian with Sriracha. Wasabi infused mayo and sauces is also super yum. All great options, can’t go wrong with any of them.

Yolk-Tastic! - Add some extra protein and flavor by toping your avocado toast with an egg. Fried or scrambled, they both will do the trick. Add bacon, turkey or ham for even more protein.

Hummus - Another great source of protein and flavor is the Mediterranean favorite hummus. Spread onto your bread instead of mayo, as thick as you’d like.

Sprouts and Veggies - Go extra healthy and add a layer of green sprouts to your toast. Available at natural food stores, these tiny green stalks are packed with nutrients. The healthy fats from the avocado help cut the slight bitterness from the sprouts. Radishes and cucumbers are more options, adding a fresh crunch.

Miso Mayo - Wanna try your hand at veganism? Trade your traditional mayonnaise for the savory and flavorful Miso Mayo. Perfect for vegans but still super yummy for everyone.

Smoked Salmon - Another great source of protein + packed with healthy omega fats. Super fast and simple to prepare, just slice up your avocado and layer the salmon on top.

Super Cheesy - There’s all kinds of cheese options, and almost all of them pair well with avocado. You can make an open-faced grilled cheese with pretty much any kind of cheese that melts.

Spreadable cheese like cream cheese is very yummy with avocado. Crumbled goat cheese and feta are great toppers, especially with nuts.
